First install the gphotoframe application with the command :

sudo yum install gphotoframe

and if you want gnome-screensaver compatibility then install the package gphotoframe-gss also.

Gnome Photo Frame is a photo frame gadget for the <a class="zem_slink" title="GNOME" rel="homepage" href="">GNOME Desktop. Let&#8217;s see how this works.. run the command gphotoframe from a terminal:

Here is what you will see :

<a href=""><img class="size-medium wp-image-1880" title="Screenshot-gphotoframe" src="" alt="Screenshot-gphotoframe" width="300" height="227" />

Don&#8217;t panic on seeing the blank/black page. You need to add the source first. So <a class="zem_slink" title="Mouse (computing)" rel="wikipedia" href="">right click on the window and go to preferences:

<a href=""><img class="size-medium wp-image-1881" title="Screenshot-Photo Frame Preferences" src="" alt="Screenshot-Photo Frame Preferences" width="300" height="232" />

Go to Photos section and select the Photos tab. Here you can select the source for the gphotoframe gadget.

<a href=""><img class="size-full wp-image-1890" title="Screenshot-Photo Source" src="" alt="Screenshot-Photo Source" width="267" height="228" />

<a href=""><img class="size-full wp-image-1892" title="Screenshot-Photo Source-1" src="" alt="Screenshot-Photo Source-1" width="267" height="228" />

Select the type of source and other parameters that might be necessary based on your type of source. Once done, click on ok and you are done.
