Network manager is supposed to be much better than network, how so? it supports dnsmasq for one… Dnsmasq with netowrkmanager Local name resolution Also Network Manager supports dispatcher scripts. How can that help? For one, I used to send interface up emails. OpenWrt – Dnsmasq (Photo credit: magicfab) Some time back I posted on dnsmasq starting from Network Manager and how to setup dnsmasq. Now, couple of days back , I setup dnsmasq in NetworkManager but was astonished to see that there was no dnsmasq running.
